Scripture Reading : Psalm 28
Theme : God is Strength and Shield
- God Destroys the Wicked (1–5). God is a rock, a place of security and strength for the righteous, but for the wicked, he is a place of terror. He will destroy them and not build them up.
- God Delivers the Righteous (6-9). The righteous can be confident that God will hear their prayers for deliverance. They can trust God and their hearts can rejoice. God will save David, His anointed king and also bless all of His people.
Praying the Scripture
God is a rock for the righteous, but a terror for the wicked. Though there are many enemies in the world against God’s people, they will triumph over their enemies because God is their strength and shield. This truth will be more dear to those believers who face persecution. May we pray for all our persecuted brothers and sister around the world, for their faith to be strong in God, who is their shield and strength.

- 神消灭恶人（1-5）。神是磐石，是义人的安全和力量之处，但对恶人而言，祂是恐惧之地。神会消灭他们，不是建立他们。
- 神搭救义人（6-9）。义人能坚信神会聆听他们呼求拯救的祷告。他们可以相信神，心里欢乐。神会救祂所膏的王大卫，也会祝福凡属祂的子民。

神是义人的磐石，却是恶人的恐惧。虽然神的子民在世上面对很多仇敌，他们却要胜过仇敌，因为神是他们的力量和盾牌。这个真理对于遭受逼迫的信徒而言更珍贵。愿我们为世上受逼迫的弟兄姐妹们祷告，叫他们的信心能因神坚固，因为神是他们的盾牌和力量。
